City School District Unveils New Science Wing At Rye High School

RYE, N.Y. -- The Rye City School District Board of Education, district officials, teachers, students and members of the Rye community will celebrate the unveiling of the new $16.35 million science wing at Rye High School with speeches and a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon at Rye High School.

Students will lead tours of the two-story, 17,000 square-foot addition that has 12 chemistry, biology, physics, engineering and earth science labs and state-of-the-art technology, including wireless Internet, Smart Boards and an HVAC system that filters air in the classrooms.

A reception with light refreshments will follow.

The Science Wing is at Milton Road Entrance to Science Wing at 1 Parsons St., Rye.
