RYE BROOK, N.Y. – Blind Brook students could have two fewer vacation days to enjoy on their spring break if school is closed again because of the weather.

Superintendent William Stark said the school calendar would be changed so that students are in class Wednesday, March 27 and Thursday, March 28 in order to meet the 181 instructional days required by the state.

The school board approved the change during  Monday's meeting.

Monday, March 25 is also a superintendent conference day, according to the district's website.
