Blind Brook High School Named Top 40 Science School

RYE BROOK, N.Y. - Rye Brook's Blind Brook High School has been named by U.S. News and World Report as one of the top 100 best STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) high schools in the nation.

Blind Brook High school ranked No. 38 out of 100 and is one of only six schools in the top 40 with an enrollment less than 400. The only other two high schools from Westchester County to crack the top 40 were Ardsley High School and Scarsdale High school, each of which boast an enrollment of more than 700.

"We are very proud of our studentsÂ’ accomplishments and the opportunities that we are able to offer them in our school program," High School Principal Gina Healy said.

U.S. News and World Report created the ranking based largely on Advanced Placement participation and performance.

In addition to coming in the top 40 for STEM, Blind Brook also ranked as the 24th-best public high school in New York and the 123rd best public high school in the nation.
