Dogan, who has lived in Rye since 1998, graduated from St. Andrews University in Scotland. Her career path has taken her to London, Germany, Michigan and finally New York.

Dogan’s traveling nature extends to her time away from the office as well. She enjoys international travel -- one of her journeys took her to Antarctica -- and she enjoys seeing the world.

Dogan does most of her traveling, however, in Rye and the surrounding communities. She has earned honors as a Top 5 Agent for Julia B. Fee Sotheby’s, and earned a 5-Star Realtor designation from Westchester Magazine.

Dogan’s trademark is service. Her clients rave about her attention to detail, preparation and flexibility. “From our first meeting we were very impressed with Fiona's diligence and preparation,’’ one client wrote on Dogan’s website. “Selling a home is always a stressful transaction, but in our case we had the comfort of knowing we were working with a seasoned professional who was there with us through every step of the transaction.”

Dogan said she will even make trips to building and tax departments. “I understand the permitting process, the variances, and I do it every day,’’ she said in a video. “I’m calm, and patient, I can handle the details. I make sure they don’t have to worry." She also takes the extra step in helping clients spruce up and stage their homes so they will sell quicker and for more money.

Dogan has a special relationship with her Rye neighbors. Her children grew up there, attended local schools, and Dogan and her family have taken advantage of the wide range of community programs, such as the YMCA. She has also been active in a number of town organizations, such as the Parent Teacher Organization, Curriculum Council and District Strategic Planning Committee. “I’ve lived the life of the people who move into this town,’’ Dogan said.

Dogan’s background also give her an advantage with international clients. She is fluent in German, and conversational in French and Turkish. She is also a national and international relocation expert.

Perhaps most importantly, Dogan has a passion to help people find their homes.

“This is not just brick and mortar,’’ Dogan said. “This is part of the vision for their future. It’s not just about stucco or clapboard. This is about how people want to live their lives, and where families are going to be and the community they’re to move into. I get to be the person that makes that happen.”
