RYE, N.Y. – Developer Susan Cappelli has recently built a new home at 265 Milton Road in Rye, which contains six bedrooms and is 8,026 square feet.
“I know what customers are looking for in Rye and have created my own niche here,” said Cappelli, who has been active in the Rye market since 2005. “This is my true passion and the beauty of it all is that I am able have fun and choose elements as I please to create something others will love.”
The home was a joint project with Thomas DeMasi, owner of Alpine Construction, with whom Cappelli has builtmore than a dozen homes—and led numerous renovations—since 2009, with Houlihan Lawrence as the exclusive sales and marketing firm.
“We’re extremely proud of every house we’ve ever completed together and have combined our expertise to form a truly remarkable force,” said DeMasi. “Susie acquires the land and does an exquisite job of heading up the interior and exterior design, while I focus on all of the site work.”
Cappelli is hands-on throughout the process, from land acquisition and architectural design through construction management and interior finishes, working with the client every step of the way.
DeMasi/Alpine complete all foundation and site work, and are responsible for the master-crafted masonry on each project.
