Detectives Seek SUV Driver In Deadly Union City Hit-Run Bicycle Crash

Authorities are seeking the driver of a white Nissan Rogue wanted in a Union City hit-and-run that killed a 56-year-old bicyclist.

Marcelino Pilco was heading northbound near Bergenline Avenue on 48th Street when he was struck on his bike around 7:45 p.m., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.

The driver of the a white Nissan Rogue, an SUV, fled, Suarez said.

Pilco was taken to Jersey City Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead just before 11:50 p.m.
