What's Happening in Wilton This Week?

WILTON, Conn. – It’s slow going in Wilton this week after school vacation, and it’s all about the books. Here’s what’s happening the week of Feb. 27 – March 1:

Monday

  • 4 p.m.: Want to learn how to write poetry? The Wilton Library is hosting a “Poetry in Motion” class three days this week.
  • 7:15 p.m.: Wilton Planning and Zoning Commission's regular meeting, in Town Hall Room A, in the Annex building

Tuesday

  • 11 a.m.: The Senior Book Club meets at Comstock Community Center to discuss the biography, “Colonel Roosevelt,” by Edmund Morris.
  • 6:30 p.m.: Wilton High School’s Varsity Challenge team is matched up against Jonathan Law High School on Cablevision Channel 14.

Wednesday

  • 5:30 p.m.: Wilton Council on Public Facilities meets to discuss several proposed school renovations. It will be held at Town Hall Room B.

Thursday

  • 10:30 a.m.: A special book discussion will take place at the Wilton Library, hosted by Bill Zeiger. They will be discussing “Uncle Tom’s Cabin”.
