Items Missing From Wilton's Brookdale Place

Residents and employees of Brookdale Place of Wilton will be keeping a closer eye on their belongings while Wilton police investigate two larcenies that were reported Dec. 24.

One resident said his brown alligator-hide wallet was taken from the apartment where he lives with his wife. The wallet is valued at $50 and contained the victim's credit cards and other papers.

Also, $2,000 cash was reportedly taken out of the purse of one of the aides that works at Brookdale. The aide told police she had the cash the morning of Dec. 22 and noticed it missing Dec. 23. Police say the money may have been taken somewhere else.

The cases remain open as police investigate who may have had access to the victims' belongings. Police do not consider the cases related to the larcenies that took place at Ogden House earlier in December.

? David Pollack, 31, of 39 Old Huckleberry Road, Wilton, was arrested after he allegedly pushed his companion during a verbal argument Dec. 23. Wilton police charged Pollack with disorderly conduct. He was held on $1,000 bond. He was scheduled to appear in court Dec. 27.
