WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Five agents from Houlihan Lawrence, the leading real estate firm serving New York City’s northern suburbs, have been named among America's top real estate sales professionals on this year’s Real Trends/The Wall Street Journal “Top Thousand” – a prestigious national awards ranking sponsored annually by the two respected publications.

On the 2014 “Top Thousand” list, Houlihan Lawrence agent Nancy Kennedy, from the firm’s Croton-on Hudson office, ranked 85th by sales volume and 68th by transaction sides. Also ranked by sales volume were Houlihan Lawrence agents Lisa Murphy (141) and Joan O'Meara (160), both from the Rye office, Brian Milton (181) from the Armonk office and Pollena Forsman (228) from the Larchmont office.

Real Trends/The Wall Street Journal “Top Thousand” awards program is the leading source of analysis and information for the residential real estate brokerage industry, with rankings allotted in four separate categories: individual agent-sales volume, individual agent-transaction sides, agent team-sales volume and agent team-transaction sides. 

As a firm, Houlihan Lawrence was also recently named to the 2014 REAL Trends 500, which identifies the country’s largest and most successful residential firms as ranked by closed transaction sides and separately by closed sales volume. Nationwide, Houlihan Lawrence ranked18th in sales volume and 53rd in transaction sides.
