Dillon is challenging state Sen. George Latimer, a Democrat from Rye, for the 37th District seat in the Nov. 4 election.

The association represents more than 45,000 police and law enforcement officers, making it the largest police organization in the Empire State. “It’s with great respect and gratitude that I accept the endorsement of the Association of PBAs,'' Dillon said. "To know I have the support of the 45,000 brave men and women who make up the organization is very humbling. “If Albany did its job the way the members of this organization do theirs, New York wouldn’t be in such a mess,'' Dillon said. "I intend to serve as state senator with dignity and a respect for the law. I hope to make them proud.”
