RYE, N.Y. – After two debates and three polls, Rye residents have split their favor between presidential candidates Gov. Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama.

In The Rye Daily Voice poll on Oct. 1, 53 percent of Rye residents who responded said they planned to vote for Romney, while 47 percent said they supported Obama.

In our Oct. 9 poll, however, after the first debate, Rye residents shifted views, with 57 percent of respondents saying they will vote for Obama and 43 percent supporting Romney.

By our third poll on Oct. 15, Romney was in the lead again among Rye voters who responded, with 53 percent once again voicing support for Romney and 47 percent saying they plan to vote for Obama.
