Rosenblum announced he is running for Westchester County Legislature in the 7th District, which is currently held by Catherine Parker. (D-Rye). Rosenblum said he believes in public service, not politics.

"We have faithfully followed this credo which we believe has worked to the benefit of all who live, work and visit our amazing “Friendly Village” of Mamaroneck," Rosenblum said. "This continued effort has resulted in the overwhelmingly positive reputation of the village and recognition as a destination community."

As mayor, Rosenblum touted his record of increasing transparency, keep tax increases with the tax cap, and increasing recreation programs. He also championed the Army Corps Of Engineers flood mitigation project to help curb flooding in the village.

Rosenblum said he was motivated to run to ensure the village continues to receive support from the Army Corps of Engineers Flood Mitigation project, enacting a countywide ban on the sale of commercially bred dogs and cats and helping to fight the county's drug epidemic.

"This is a threat to the future of all with particular impact on children, young adults and senior citizens who fall prey to this insidious epidemic," Rosenblum said.
