The last time Cuomo participated in a debate was in 2002, The Wall Street Journal said.

As Professor Teachout asserts (in the adjoining article), Mr. Cuomo has an ethical obligation to debate her. Yes -- an ETHICAL obligation!

Albany is a mess and needs (honest and) ethical leadership.

And, Mr. Astorino -- be focused and stay on message. You are a vastly superior communicator that your opponent and the issues, in this election, are clearly on your side: Onerous taxes, anemic growth in NYS's economy/jobs, and unfortunately, robust growth in "transfer payments."
