RYE, N.Y. – A woman was hit by a car while she was walking with a small boy outside a medical clinic in Rye on Monday, according to a report by lohud.com.
The driver was pulling into a parking spot at the WestMed Medical Group at 1 Theall Road when she apparently hit the gas instead of the brakes, witnesses told lohud.com.

They were reportedly taken to Westchester Medical Center for treatment. The incident occurred around 4:28 p.m.
Witnesses also told lohud.com that parking attendants and other bystanders helped free the woman and that the unidentified driver was also taken away on a stretcher.
