The driver’s 2016 Volkwagen Jetta “became partially submerged and remained upright” in upper Mount Laurel Lake in the Upper Greenwood section of town, Lt. Stephen Singerline said.

She was taken to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries, he said.

Singerline singled out the “cooperation and professionalism” of the responders, who included township police, firefighters from Companies 3, 5 and 6, the township firsts aid squad and ALS paramedics from Atlantic Healthcare.

Township police were investigating, the lieutenant said.
