Storm brewing over Hannah’s get-up

This tempest raised over Hannah Storm’s skirt by Tony Kornheiser is ridiculous. Dick Stockton should kick his ass.

Kornheiser called Storm’s short plaid skirt, V-neck sweater and thigh-high boots “horrifying” and said Storm was too old to wear them.

So here we have one of the brightest celebrities in the history of TV sports taking flak from a bald, dorky senior citizen who, although once a peerless columnist, has thrown his lot in with broadcast media, with decidedly mixed results.

At 62, the bald Kornhole has no call trying to school a 47-year-old cougar with legs down to there — and a sharp, analytical sports mind to go with it — about fashion. Not when he wears ties with thick knots and shirts that clash with his jackets.

He’s also waaaaaaay out of line.

Kornheiser deserves the two-week suspension ESPN handed out. He also should be required to apologize to Storm — personally.

ESPN: Made for men. Strong enough for Hannah Storm.

Yes, she’s a babe — God, she‘s stunning. So is Rachel Nichols, whose enunciation of ESPN‘s call letters is akin to someone ready the Kama Sutra aloud. But that’s no reason for grand pappies to get their Depends in a knot.

It’s a new day. Styles have changed dramatically. Find me one woman’s Facebook profile pic that doesn’t feature a plunging neckline and I’ll pick up the dinner check. It’s called progress, Anthony. Open your eyes, grandpa.

Kornball, unfortunately, has veered into Andy Rooney territory, from which there should be no return.

Time to find him a place outside the limelight. I’m sure there are plenty of little papers out there who’d be happy to take him on as a columnist, or local TV stations glad to involve him in the action — as long as it’s somewhere where not too many people hear, or see, what he has to say.

Stupid man. Stupid comment.
