RYE, N.Y. -- A Rye woman is facing a felony assault charge after calling police to a Port Chester house party where she allegedly "clubbed a man in the head with a beer bottle, then punched him and bit his hand," according to a report from Patch.
Celia Leon, 43, was charged with felony second-degree assault in the incident, according to the report. Port Chester Police reported that they received a call on Nov. 16 from Leon saying "she needed help and that she was in Rye and was being harassed by men at a party," according to Lt. James Ladeairous in the Patch report.
Police responded to the house on William Street and "heard from others present at the party, including the victim — a 47-year-old Queens man—that the woman had assaulted him," according to the Patch report.
