New York State Police from the Hawthorne barracks were dispatched about 5:47 p.m. Thursday to the Taconic State Parkway, where they found a disabled vehicle operated by Stephen J. Marks, 61.
Police say they interviewed Marks, who revealed clues of being intoxicated. He then provided police with a breath sample revealing a blood alcohol content of 0.16 percent, according to officers.
Police issued Marks traffic tickets ordering him to appear before the Mount Pleasant Town Court on Jan. 22.
Police say Marks was charged with a felony after an investigation revealed that he was convicted of DWI in 2013.
