RYE, N.Y. - A plastic bag containing marijuana residue was found Saturday in a locker at the Rye YMCA, Rye police said.

A manager at the 21 Locust Ave. building called in a report on the bag and police determined it contained marijuana.

The bag was thrown out.

The following item also was reported by Rye police:

Deer hit by car: An injured deer was found behind the pool and pro shop Sunday at the Rye Golf Club, 330 Boston Post Road. The deer had been hit by a motor vehicle.

No other information was available.
