Bronxville Middle School Student Fighting For His Life Following Fall

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - A Bronxville middle school student is in the hospital fighting for his life after taking a fall from a window in his apartment earlier this week.

On Wednesday night, police responded to the apartment building at 64 Sagamore Road after being alerted of a person that sustained serious injuries after falling out of a window. Upon arrival, the victim wasn't breathing and was unresponsive.

The victim was later identified as John Duffy, an eighth-grade student at the Bronxville Middle School. The school district has passed out letters to parents alerting them of the incident, and counselors have been made available to students on Thursday and Friday.

According to reports, Duffy is not expected to recover from his life-threatening injuries.
