Around 6:28 p.m. Trooper Serge Diogene of Troop T, based in New Rochelle, stopped a car for speeding in a posted work zone on the highway, police said. While questioning the driver, he noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the car, the report said.

Upon searching, he found 14 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value over $80,000.

Jerome O. Isaac, 29, and Alexis A.
