RYE, N.Y. – Sylvia Bieber Greenberg of Rye died June 30. She was 96.
A graduate of Wellesley College, Greenberg worked as a vocational and rehabilitation counselor for many years. She was a longtime resident of Sterling Park at the Osborn in Rye.
She was predeceased by her husband, Herbert. Greenberg is survived by two sons, Harry and Lawrence; two daughters-in-law, Diane and Susan; and four grandchildren.
A private committal service will be held Tuesday at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson. A memorial service will be held at the Osborn in Rye at a later date. Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home in Dobbs Ferry is handling arrangements.
