RYE, N.Y. – Shirley G. Romney, née Gordon, 92, died Saturday, July 11.
She was devoted to family, friends and making the world a better place.
She is survived by her son, Ben and his partner, Ginger Benlifer; daughter Anne Romney (Tim Hayes); four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister.
She was predeceased by her husband, Seymour L. Romney and daughter Dana Romney.
Services will be held Sunday, July 19 at 11 a.m. at Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard St., Brookline, New York. Burial will take place in Adath Jeshurun Cemetery, 350 Grove St., West Roxbury, New York. A memorial observance following the burial will be held at the home of Ellen Cohen until 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Macular Degeneration Association or Washingtonville Housing Alliance.
