TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- Paraskevi P. Tambakos, of Tarrytown, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, at the age of 99.
Born in Greece on Feb. 15, 1915, she was the daughter of Peter and Georgia Kringas. She and her husband, Peter, ran Pete's Luncheonette in North Tarrytown for many years. She was an active member of the Church of Our Saviour in Rye.
Tambakos is survived by her daughters, Georgia and Maria, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter; her son, Demosthenes; two brothers; and two sisters. There will be no wake, but funeral services will be at the Church of Our Saviour in Rye on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 10 a.m. with interment to follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
