RYE, N.Y. -- Miyo Arita, 92, a resident of Rye Brook, died Monday, Oct. 26.
Arita was born in Queens, to the late Kichitaro and Shaw Kajiura Taki.
She worked as administrative assistant for Avon Products in Rye and New York City and was an active member of the Rye Brook Seniors group.
She was predeceased in death by her husband, the late Minoru Arita, her son Robert Arita and sisters Tiyo Asai and Hanna Wang.
She is survived by her children Alan (Eleanor); Sandra Duigan (Christopher); Richard (Sherry); grandchildren Robby (Lisa); Jon, Rich (KC); and Kerri, Michael, Marci, Christopher, Matthew, Deanna, and great-grandchildren, Elijah, Miyoko, RJ, and Kaia.
A visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Craft Memorial Home with a funeral service at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Kensico Cemetery Valhalla,.
