RYE, N.Y. -- Jeanne S. Loughman, 93, of Rye, died Sunday, Aug. 30, in Albany.
Known as a big teenager by family and friends, she was always ready to go shopping or play a game of any kind, kept up-to-date on the latest news and gossip, and even swam three days a week until the age of 92. She was deeply dedicated to both church and family.
She was predeceased by her husband, John W. Loughman, a son, John C. Loughman, a daughter, Bonnie Coburn, and a son-in-law, Joe Vales.
She is survived by four children, Louise Vales (Joe), Shelley Woodward (Mark), Kerry Loughman (Patty) and Vicky Fortuna (Nick); 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Calling hours are Wednesday, from 4-8 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home in Rye.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Resurrection Church in Rye on Thursday, at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Catholic Family Services or a charity of your choice.
