Jane V. DiLeo, 95, Former Rye Brook Resident

RYE, N.Y. – Jane V. DiLeo, a former longtime resident of Rye Brook, died Sunday, Feb. 7. She was 95.

She was born Sept. 22, 1920, in Rye to the late Joseph and Anna DeSepia Barbara. She was raised and educated in Port Chester and graduated from Port Chester High School in 1938. She was the widow of Vincent DiLeo, who died Oct. 27, 1991. 

She was an administrative assistant for Greenwich Hospital in the physical therapy department and retired in 1987. She was a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church and was a volunteer for bingo and active in the Christian Mothers Club. She was also active with the Rye Brook Seniors.

She is survived by her daughters, Pamela DiLeo and her former husband, Steve, of Pine Bush; Cindi DiLeo-Tsuno and her husband, Rick, of Pleasanton, Calif.; and her son, Vincent DiLeo and his wife, Laura, of Truckee, Nev.; her grandchildren, Rachel DiLeo and her husband, Peter Boss; Dana DiLeo; Nicole Tsuno and Marc Tsuno; her godson, Michael D'Andrea; and her niece, Barbara Cerone.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sisters Eleanor D'Andrea, Mary Berlingo, Philomena Barbara and Angelina Barbara; and brother Sabino Barbara.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at Craft Memorial Home Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 136 S. Regent St., Port Chester. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook.
