RYE BROOK, N.Y. – Eleanore S. Wolf of Rye Brook died Saturday, Sept. 8. She was 93.
Born July 21, 1919, in the Bronx, Wolf was the daughter of August and Minnie Hagemeyer Siegmann. She was raised and educated in Harrison. She married George Wolf Jr. on June 10, 1943, in Harrison. He died in 1982.
Eleanore Wolf was a retired secretary for attorney Edward Saltzman in Port Chester. She was also a member of the All Souls Parish in Port Chester.
She is survived by three children, Robert (Joan) Wolf of Warrenton, Va., Nancy Pienta of Valatie, N.Y., and Barbara (Peter) Varco; a sister, Helen Vaala of Wilmington, Del.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Richard Wolf, in 2007; and two brothers, Edward and Robert Siegmann.
Visitation is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Craft Memorial Home in Port Chester. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at All Souls Parish in Port Chester. Burial will follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye.
