He started work as an organizer for the March of Dimes in 1948, and served as president of the New York City headquarters from 1980-90.

Massey also served as a deacon of his church and a Stephen Minister.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Anne Massey; one daughter, Priscilla Miller; three grandchildren; and seven nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be eld at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Rye Presbyterian Church, 882 Boston Post Road, Rye.
