RYE, N.Y. -- Barbara L. Welch, of Rye, and formerly of Sheldon, S.C., died on Tuesday at age 72.
She was born Feb. 18, 1942 in Wellesley, Mass. to Ernest and Margaret Ruegg.
Barbara was a loving homemaker and the beloved wife of the late Michael Taft.
Barbara is survived by her cherished daughter, Alex Bayha of Rye (husband Kristofer) and dear grandchildren, Madeline and Cameron.
Funeral services were conducted privately by Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home.
