Armand Ciraldo, 92, Rye Brook Resident

RYE BROOK, N.Y. -- Armand Ciraldo, a resident of Rye Brook passed away on Aug. 15 at the age of 92.

He was born in New York City to the late Luigi and Josephine Ciraldo. Armand was the owner of Port Chester Auto Parts. He was a passionate golfer and has been an active member of the Westchester Country Club for over fifty years.

He served our country proudly as a carrier based fighter pilot in the United States Navy during WWII and Korea, having been awarded the Gold Star and upheld the highest traditions of the US Naval Service, before being honorably discharged.

Armand is survived by his wife of 67 years Jill Ciraldo. He is also survived by his son Michael Ciraldo (Brooke), grandchildren, Jackie, Natalie, Alexandra, Christopher, and Madeline Ciraldo. Along with his parents he was predeceased by a son John Ciraldo, a brother Guido Ciraldo, and sisters Rose Cerretta and Olga McManus.

The family will receive friends on Monday Aug. 17 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home in Harrison. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday Aug. 18 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester. Entombment to follow at St. Mary' s Cemetery in Rye Brook. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Armand Ciraldo may be made at www.alz.org/donate
