Youth Group Plans Toy Giveaway And Holiday Dinner For Westchester County

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. --  Batty's Kids, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing social services for at-risk youth, is holding its annual Toy Giveaway on Dec. 24 at the Thomas Slater Center in White Plains.

From 4 to 8 p.m., the group will hand out more than 500 gift-wrapped toys to children of all ages, as well as host a free holiday dinner for Westchester County families.

There will be games, prizes, food and beverages and is open to everyone. The Slater Center is at 2 Fisher Court in White Plains.

Batty's Kids' aim is to sponsor local athletic teams, provide back-to-school assistance, scholarship opportunities and other financial assistance to low income children and their families.
