Jay Heritage House Takes Stand Against Racism: 3 p.m.

The Jay Heritage Center is sponsoring Stand Against Racism, a movement initiated by the YWCA in 2008 to raise awareness that racism still exists in our communities. Guest speaker will be writer and performer Iyaba Ibo Maningo. Jay Heritage Center, 210 Boston Post Road, Rye.

Saturday, April 28

Rye Brook Farmers Market: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Rye Brook's Indoor Farmers Market features over 12 vendors including Gaia’s Breath FarmGuyank Brand Sweet & Hot Pepper Sauces, Healthway FarmsHummingbird Ranch and Big Girl Baking. AJP Senior Center, 32 Garibaldi Place, Rye Brook.

Midland Fair: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Midland families will cowboy up on Saturday for this year's Wild Wild West themed Midland fair. The event features food, outdoor games, vendors, giveaways and even a dunk tank. The event is kicked off by the parade through town led by Midland's fifth-graders. Midland School, 312 Midland Ave., Rye.

Sunday, April 29

Rye Derby: 10 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. The Rye YMCA is hosting its 24th annual Rye Derby, a fundraising event that brings the community together for a day of fun for the whole family.  Proceeds contribute to teen programming, financial aid for families and other important work for the community. Rye YMCA, 21 Locust Ave., Rye.
