Legends of Rock at Playland: 5:30 p.m. Rye Playland is hosting a tribute to some of the greatest rock n' roll legends of all time, past and present. Rye Playland, 1 Playland Parkway.

Saturday, June 23

Rye Brook Farmers Market: 10 a.m. Come to Rye Brook's Farmers Market for fresh vegetables, fruits, homemade preservatives, pepper sauces and other goods. St. Paul's Lutheran Church parking lot, corner of King Street and Comly Avenue.

Preschool Story Time: 11 a.m. Children can listen to age-appropriate stories and participate in fun games, rhymes and other activities to develop pre-literacy skills and an interest in books and reading. Felt boards and other props are sometimes used to enhance stories and model future classroom experiences. Age 3 1/2 years and up. Rye Free Reading Room, 1061 Boston Post Road.
