What's Happening in Rye this Weekend

RYE, N.Y. - The Rye YMCA is offering to take the kids out on the town Friday, while Saturday signals play time for adults with a pair of fundraisers.

Friday

Teen Dinner and a Show at Westchester Broadway Theatre, 5-9 p.m.

The Rye YMCA is sponsoring an evening of sophisticated entertainment for 13- to 16-year-olds with a trip to the Westchester Broadway Theatre in Elmsford, for a performance of the Broadway Classic 'Legally Blonde. Tickets are $80 for members and $90 for non-members and include transportation and a dinner at the theater. Rye YMCA, 21 Locust Ave., Rye.

Kids Night Out, 5:30-10 p.m.

A fancy night out on the town not your cup of tea? The Rye YMCA also is offering a more laid back evening for children ages 5-11 with a trip to the Port Chester Cinema. Tickets are $20 per child, $15 for the second and third child, and include dinner, movie tickets, and transportation. Rye YMCA, 21 Locust Ave., Rye.

Saturday

Rye Arts Center Annual Fundrasier Gala, 6:30 p.m.

This yearly extravaganza is a celebration in support of the Rye Arts Center and its community enrichment programs. The event will honor board member Barabara Elliot, along with all the center's instructors. Tickets are $250. Old Oaks Country Club, 3100 Purchase St,, Purchase.

Milton Fair, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Come and enjoy Olympic-themed games, The Fun Bus, cake walk, bouncy castles, face-painting, arts and crafts, pizza, hot dogs, delicious Japanese food and much more at the Milton School's Spring Fair. The Milton School, 12 Hewlitt Ave., Rye.

Rye YMCA March Madness Fundraiser, 7-11 p.m.

Rye YMCA college basketball fans don their favorite teams colors and support the Rye Y's Strong Kid's Campaign while enjoying the live action of Final Four basketball games and bidding on silent auction items. Tickets are $150 and the event will be at the Manursing Island Club, 1 Manursing Ave., Rye.
