What's Happening in Rye this Week

RYE, N.Y. - Check out what's happening in Rye and Rye Brook this week.

Monday

-Registration for Rye Recreation's summer programs starting at 9 am. at the Damiano Recreation Center.

-Blind Brook Schools will host a foreign language film night starting at 7 p.m. inside the High School auditorium.

Tuesday

-The polls will be open starting at 7 a.m. as the community will vote to elect two citizens to the Board of Trustees

-The Rye YMCA is hosting a program called "Let's Move - Feel Inspired Together" starting at 10 a.m. The program costs $20 per session and is open to members only.

-The Rye Free Reading Room will kick off their Spring children's program entitled "Robert the Guitar Guy Music & Movement Program" at 1:30 p.m.

-Spin-A-Yarn at the Rye Free Reading Room with other area knitting enthusiasts from 4-5 p.m.

Wednesday

-Babies and Toddlers are invited to "Wiggle and Giggle Time" at the Rye Free Reading Room for a morning of music and movement starting at 9:15 a.m..

-The Rye Free Reading Room's "History at your Doorstep" program starts at 7 p.m. and features the heads of the Jay Heritage Center, the Rye Historical Society, and the Save the Birds Homestead.

-Mindful Yoga with Susan Wright at the Wainwright House in Rye starts at 10:30 a.m. and costs $20 per session.

Thursday

-Blind Brook School District's Athletic Advisory Committee will meet at 7 p.m. in the Middle School/High School.

-The City of Rye's Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at 7:30 p.m. inside the City Council chambers.

Friday

-Babies and Toddlers are invited to "Wiggle and Giggle Time" at the Rye Free Reading Room for a morning of music and movement starting at 9:15 a.m.

-The Rye Free Reading Room's Fun Club welcomes Spring with stories and crafts for kids five and older starting at 3 p.m.
