Register for Summer Colonial Camp: 10:00 a.m. Travel back in time this summer at the Rye Historical Society’s annual Hands-on-History Summer Colonial Camp. Girls and boys ages 8-12 will spend two fun-filled weeks immersed in colonial history at the Square House Museum. The Square House Museum, 1 Purchase St., Rye.

Board of Education Meeting: 8:00 p.m. The Blind Brook Board of Education will meet on Monday and approve the 2012-13 budget inside of the Instructional Media Center at the Middle School/High School. Blind Brook Middle School/High School, 390 Ridge St., Rye Brook.

Rye Sports History: 7:00 p.m. What makes Rye so good at sports? That question will be the topic of conversation for a panel of notorious Rye athletes and coaches during a Rye Sports History night. Rye Middle School, 3 Parsons St., Rye.

Rye Board of Education Meeting: 8:00 p.m. On the agenda is the adoption of the 2012-13 budget as well as fiscal, special education, personnel and business items that ordinarily come before the board. Rye Middle School, 3 Parsons St., Rye.

Rye City Council: 8:00 p.m. The Rye City Council will meet inside of city hall and receive a report of the city's 2011 result of operations. Rye City Hall, 1051 Boston Post Road, Rye.

Rye Recreation Committee: 6:30 p.m. Rye's Recreation Committee will meet inside the Damiano Recreation Center located on 281 Midland Ave. in Rye.

Friday, April 20

Girls Night In at the Rye YMCA: 6:00 p.m. All girls are invited to come to the Rye YMCA for a few hours of swimming, jewelry making, nail painting, games and dinner. Rye YMCA, 21 Locust Ave., Rye.
