YONKERS, N.Y. -- Eileen Grubert (Sister Thomas Marian) died at the Convent of Mary the Queen in Yonkers on Tuesday, Jan. 6. She was 90.
She entered the Sisters of Charity of New York on Sept. 8, 1944.
Grubert ministered at Church of the Resurrection in Rye; St. Lawrence Academy in Manhattan; Sts. Peter and Paul Church in the Bronx; St. Gregory the Great Church in Harrison; Sacred Heart Church in Staten Island; and St. Patrick Villa Church in Nanuet.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are at the Convent of Mary the Queen.
Grubert's wake will be held Thursday, Jan. 8, from 2:30-8 p.m. with a vigil service at 6:30 p.m. Grubert's Mass will be held Friday, Jan. 9, at 11 a.m., and interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Yonkers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of Charity of New York.
