RYE, N.Y. -- Every summer Rye TV puts cameras into the hands of a few young aspiring filmmakers and with a little training, imagination does the rest of the work."The kids love it," said Nicole Levitsky director of programming at Rye TV. "It's something different to do for the summer."Starting Tuesday, July 5, Rye TV will host a video workshop for children ages 11 to 15 at a cost of $75. The three-week program runs four days a week from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day.
Participants will get access to state-of-the-art equipment and learn the basics of video production, while working on making a short film."I've seen everything from zombies to spy movies," said Levitsky. "It's great to see what they come up with."
