RYE, N.Y. The Rye City Managers Office has temporarily lifted the ban on the use of leaf blowers in Rye through Tuesday following Thursday evenings storm.
The ban has been lifted, but under a few provisions: leaf blowers still cannot be used on Sunday and cannot be operated between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. on weekdays or between 6 p.m. and 10 a.m. on Saturday. The leaf blower ban will resume on Wednesday, Aug. 1.
