Rye Temporarily Lifts Leaf Blower Ban After Storms

RYE, N.Y. – Rye residents will be allowed to use leaf blowers through next Wednesday after the city manager’s office temporarily lifted a ban on the machines following Tuesday's storms.

Residents still cannot use leaf blowers on Sunday, between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m. on weekdays or between 6 p.m. and 10 a.m. on Saturday. The leaf blower ban will resume on Thursday, Sept. 27.
