RYE, N.Y. - All government and public buildings will be closed in Rye for Labor Day, which will alter the sanitation schedule for the first half of the week.
All government offices and post offices in Rye will be closed in observance of the federal holiday. The Rye Free Reading Room will be closed Monday and re-open at 1 p.m. Tuesday.
There will be no trash collection Monday. Your pick-up days will depend on your address. Call the Public Works Department Sanitation Hotline at (914) 967-4246 to see how your pick-up dates will change due to the holiday.
