Rye Library Posters Highlight Hazards Of Distracted Walking, Driving

RYE, N.Y. -- Posters illustrating the dangers of distracted walking and driving are on display at the Rye Free Reading Room from Jan. 10 through Jan. 30.

A reception and awards ceremony is planned for Wednesday, Jan. 14, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Rye YMCA, as part of its Safe Routes to School initiative, invited students to create the posters, which are both thought-provoking and graphically interesting.
