Prospective Operators, Legislators Tour Playland Amusement Park In Rye

RYE, N.Y. -- Legislators and representatives of Standard Amusements toured Playland Amusement Park on Thursday.

The tour was an official meeting of the Westchester County Board of Legislators Labor, Parks, Planning and Housing Committee, which is reviewing the management agreement for Standard to operate Playland.

The Labor, Parks, Planning and Housing Committee will meet again on Wednesday, at 9 a.m. to continue the discussion and review of the management agreement.

At Wednesday’s meeting, representatives from the County Law and Planning departments will attend to discuss legal issues, the State Environmental Quality Review process and labor issues.
