RYE, N.Y. -- The City of Rye Police Department issued a flood warning Wednesday as the Bowman Avenue Dam, which connects to Blind Brook, approached full capacity. However, with only light rainfall expected this week, flooding of the brook is unlikely.Local residents near flood-prone areas are still advised to move vehicles to higher ground and be prepared for possible flooding.Scattered showers are expected throughout Wednesday with a possible thunderstorm Thursday, and chance showers through Saturday.Do you live near Blind Brook?
