Multiple Injuries Reported In Crash That Closes I-287 In Rye

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Four people were hospitalized with injuries, three of which were serious injuries, in a six-vehicle accident that led to the closure of I-287 in Rye during the Friday evening commute, according to LoHud.com.

The accident, between Westchester Avenue (Exit 8E) and Boston Post Road/Route 1 (Exit 11), occurred shortly after 5 p.m. All lanes remained closed until the left lane opened just before 11 p.m. Friday.
