Marshlands Conservancy Artwork Wanted For Exhibit In Rye

RYE, N.Y. – Artwork inspired by or created at the Marshlands Conservancy can be submitted for entry into a public exhibit titled “A Different Point of View” at the Westchester County park, located in Rye.

The art exhibit will open Feb. 10, from 2 to 5 p.m., with a reception for the artists sponsored by the Friends of Marshlands Conservancy. The exhibit will remain on view weekends from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through April 7.

Paintings, sculpture, drawings and other artwork can be submitted for entry on Feb. 2 and 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the conservancy, which is at 220 Boston Post Road (Route 1) in Rye just south of the Rye Golf Club.

All paintings and drawings must be framed and ready for hanging. Please note that photography is not included in this exhibit. There is a maximum of three submissions per person, and all age groups are welcome.
