“Over the last 18 years, our golf fundraiser has netted over 1 million dollars for the Rye Y’s Annual Campaign,” Gregg Howells, Rye Y Executive Director said in a statement. “Thanks to the generosity of our players and sponsors, we are able to welcome all members of our community even when they are experiencing financial hardship.”

Most golfers were able to get 16 holes in before rains become too heavy to finish the outing.

This year, the Rye Y has awarded $590,000 in financial assistance to families, adults and youth.
