RYE, N.Y. -- Rye's decision to increase several fees next year tops this week's news.

  • Rye will increase several fees next year, including the cost for commuters to park at the train station. The city also increased the fee to install generators in your home and several building fees.
  • The Rye High School Class of 2013 graduated last weekend and have announced their college choices. Of the 219 students who graduated, 212 will be attending college next year.
  • A film starring Rye native Jason Bateman, as well as Tina Fey and Jane Fonda, will continue shooting in the city Sunday. Police warn that there will be traffic and parking congestion around Mead Place and the Locust Avenue Firehouse.
