RYE, N.Y. -- A Rye executive indicted for stealing funds in New Jersey tops this week's news.
- Thomas Fagan, 57, of Rye was indicted in New Jersey this week on charges that he stole $230,000 in investor funds . Officials say he used tens of thousands of company dollars on trips to Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
- Rye voters approved the 2013-14 school budget in Tuesday's election. The $76.7 million budget is a 4.32 percent increase over last year.
- Westchester Board of Legislators Chairman Ken Jenkins filed a lawsuit against the county's deal with Sustainable Playland to take over operations of Rye Playland. Jenkins argues that the county's Board of Acquisition and Contract acted outside its jurisdiction when it approved the deal on April 18.
